Minor is appropriate for small bird species such as Agapornis, Cyanoramphus, Pyrrhura, and Forpus. These birds typically have varied diets in their natural habitat. Minor is formulated as a maintenance formula that is suitable for non-reproductive periods.
Description
Directions for use:
It is designed to constitute 100% of the parrot’s diet in non-reproductive periods. However, if fresh vegetables are daily provided to lend variety to the diet, we recommend that Psittacus Minor should constitute no less than 70-80% of the total intake. During the breeding season, parrots should always have access to our Psittacus Eggfood and Psittacus Calcium Grit Fine. No vitamin or mineral supplements should be given to parrots whose principal food is Psittacus Minor. It is appropriate to renew water daily. Store in a cool dry place after opening inside a closed container.

Birds consumption is around 10% – 18% of their body weight, depending on the specie and the environmental temperature.
