This is a complementary product intended for adult parrots of the subfamily Loriinae (lories and lorikeets). It contains highly digestible ingredients with a high proportion of dried fruit and sugars, particularly suitable for Loriinae diet to achieve the maximum quality and palatability. We recommend providing Lory Nectar and Lory Gel simultaneously.
Directions for use:
It is advisable to provide the Lory Nectar simultaneously with Lory Gel in different feeders. Both products are preferably supplied in dry form, but it can be provided mixed with water until a creamy texture. In warm environments, the product should be renewed more than once a day if it is diluted with water. It is important to clean out the feeders daily. We recommend supplementing the diet with fresh fruit every day. No vitamin or mineral supplements should be given to parrots whose basic diet is Lory Nectar and Lory Gel formulas. Store in a cool dry place after opening (while refrigeration is not advised, freezing is possible if hermetically sealed).
Bird consumption varies between 7-10 g of dried gel and nectar per 100 g of body weight.
